Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy has agreed with representatives of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), associations of clubs and all respective bodies and the Interior Ministry to increase the numbers of spectators during future matches.
The Youth and Sports Ministry said in a statement that such a step came at a meeting held on Tuesday 7/5/2024 in the New Administrative Capital to discuss increasing the numbers of fans at all national and African tournaments, in which Egyptian clubs are set to compete.
During the meeting, all state-run bodies and the Interior Ministry agreed on this increase, in addition to holding the knockout matches of African tournaments with full capacity attendance.
